Each package comes with some pre-paid lab work. We will pick which labs based on your concerns and symptoms. Some options are a stool test, genetic testing helping you decide if you should avoid gluten or your risk of developing celiac if you have Hashimoto's, or a variety of hormones (insulin, cortisol, DHEA, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone). If you have previous lab work, your can bring this to your initial appointment as well, and we will review it.
You will receive a comprehensive nutrition plan sent within 48 hours of their initial appointment which includes a summary of the appointment, personalized food plan, a protocol dedicated to your specific issues, 40+ recipes, a brief lab review if you brought labs, any recommended products/ supplements and foods, and if requested an exercise plan with workout videos. We will review functional lab work and incorporate the information we find into your treatment plan.
You can request a week long meal plan as well with recipes built for your condition. In your appointments, we will discuss meal planning and I will teach you how to do it, however, if you would like extra guidance I will happily provide it. My goal is to empower you to feel confident planning your own meals and navigating going out to eat so you can be successful for life.
Most importantly, you will get accountability and direct messaging with me so you have continued help for months as you begin your health journey!
Practice Better is a HIPAA approved platform that keeps your personal health information safe, accepts payment, and helps bill to insurance. We use this platform that merges with zoom to keep your information private and your experience working with us safe.
FAY is a platform I use to bill insurance. It is how you schedule an appointment with me using insurance. It also has a direct messaging platform so we can communicate anytime you have a question or need a recommendation!
Country Roots Nutrition can accept patients using insurance who live in Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Hew Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
If you are paying out of pocket and choosing a more comprehensive package I can see patients in Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Georgia, California, and Maryland.
This depends on your insurance and if you have any medical diagnoses. You can ask your insurance or read your EOB (explanation of benefits). I often see people 5-10 times with insurance. This is a great amount to start a nutrition plan, and see progress!
